Courtney Kindelin, MS CCC-SLP, CBIS
Courtney Kindelin, a Certified Brain Injury Specialist and an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist (SLP), is the owner and lead therapist of Kind Speech Solutions. Courtney graduated from Rush University in Chicago with a master's degree in speech-language pathology and has over a decade of clinical experience in a variety of settings including skilled nursing, inpatient, residential, and outpatient rehabilitation.
Courtney’s passion is working with adults with neurogenic disorders resulting from conditions including stroke, concussion, brain injury, and recently, long-haul COVID. Courtney believes in taking a person-centered approach to treatment. As a participant, you are involved in your plan of care in order to create goals that are meaningful and achievable. As your therapist, Courtney will use a range of evidence-based interventions to help you reach your goals and discover newfound strengths amid the struggles of dealing with a stroke, brain injury, or other diagnosis.
In her free time, Courtney enjoys singing, hiking, and trying (somewhat successfully) to grow vegetables!
